Why is it that so many fans of homeopathy are suspicious of the drug industry, but not the supplement industry. The former is subject to tighter regulation and requires scientific scrutiny. Granted, neither drug approval nor prescription are flawless, but why trust the makers of supplements who need not expose their products to rigorous scientific testing? Yes, the big bad pharma companies want to make a buck, but does the supplement manufacturer have no interest in money?
